General terms and conditions

To make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible we have introduced general terms and conditions. We kindly ask you to read these carefully and to follow these instructions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to visit our reception for explanation.

  1. Validity

With the presence at Camping de la Sûre these rules and regulations are implicitly recognized.

The managers of Camping de la Sûre can take measures because of the preservation of peace, order and cleanliness. Contributors to damage, nuisance or other violations of the rules will be penalized and/or will be removed from the site.

  1. Registration

All guests must register on arrival at the reception with legitimate identification. Visitors must first register at the reception; visitors are allowed until 23h00 to stay at the campsite. If visitors want to stay overnight, this should be reported and the visitor fee to be paid at the reception.

  1. Payment

With the use of the Campsite, there are costs as to be read on the price list. These costs must be paid before departure. For longer stays, the costs may (after consultation) be paid weekly. Please inform the camp manager on the evening of departure.

Everywhere on the site you can pay with cash, credit cards (no American Express) or bank cards.

  1. Rental

Camping de la Sûre offers fully equipped mobile homes for rent. Pets are allowed in some of our mobile homes (this comes with a mandatory final cleaning). As we will be doing a final inspection on the day of departure, we kindly ask you to make an appointment, at least 1 day before the departure.

  1. Noise

Respect the other campers and limit the volume of radios, TVs, etc. so that they do not suffer from it.

There is a night rest from 22h00 to 07h00.

  1. Parking / speed

Vehicles are allowed on the campsite, as well as on your own pitch. Unauthorized parking is not allowed. Visitors must park their car in the public car park.

Between 23h00 and 07h00, vehicle traffic is not allowed on the campsite. (Except for emergency situations).

The speed limit on the campsite is Max 10 km/h.

  1. Order

All campers are required to carefully deal with our facilities. Parents are responsible to guide and supervise their children. The sanitary facilities are no games or playgrounds.

We do our best to keep the whole campsite and sanitary buildings as neat and clean as possible, thank you very much for your cooperation. Be kind to our cleaning staff by giving them the time needed to clean the sanitary buildings. In the meantime, we ask you to move to another sanitary building.

Please do not dig holes or canals on the pitches. Do not put plastic on the lawn, so it dies off. Please do not use stones on the site and not as a bottom layer of your caravan, this increases the risk of accidents while mowing the grass.

On Sundays and bank holidays, mowing the lawn is prohibited, as are other noisy activities.

Because of the size of the pitches and the maintenance of the lawn we don’t accept twin-axle caravans on the campsite.

  1. Waste disposal

The waste is to be separated into the appropriate containers, to be found next to the sanitary building.

It is prohibited to place trash next to the container.

  1. Water / sewage water

The water from all the taps at Camping de la Sûre is drinkable. Therefor we ask to use the water modestly. The public water taps are indeed public and not for individual water hose connections. To our guests who prefer to have their private tap and sewage we recommend our comfort pitches. Wastewater belongs in the sewer pits, not in nature. Please save the water under your caravan, do not dig holes/gutters for drainage. Sewage tanks and chemical toilets cannot be emptied in the toilets, but only in designated chemical dumps. It is strictly prohibited to do the dishes in the buildings, for this there are appropriate sinks on the sides of the toilet blocks.

  1. Electricity

Caution is needed with electricity, remember to plug your power plug into the caravan and roll off your cable completely (for short circuit and fire hazard). Per pitch there should only be 1 socket (3-pin plug CEE) of the power box be used. There is a maximum of 10 amperes per place available. So, you can simultaneously use up to 2200 watts of equipment. Please think of your fellow campers before using any electric device! Electric heaters, grills, ovens and other appliances that use more than 10Amp is strictly prohibited.

Charging electric or hybrid vehicles is forbidden!

  1. Pets

Pets are allowed on the campsite provided that they are leashed when walking and also on your own pitch. Pets are not allowed in the sanitary buildings. Fencing off your pitch with sheep gates or other fencing is not permitted. Possible contamination by pets will need to be cleaned by the owner, special bags for this are available next to the campsite.

Near the campsite, you can take beautiful walks with your dog.

  1. Emergencies

At the reception there is a SOS-button which you can use in an emergency at night.

National emergency number: 112.

  1. Barbecuing
